For those of you who may be new to Brazilia, Excelda started Brazilia 22 years ago as a single mother, who was passionate about skincare and people! She wanted to create not just a spa, but a place that embodies beauty and confidence for all who come. 22 years ago, she started Brazilia with her signature 15-minute Brazilian Wax Treatment, which was far from the norm back then. She knew she wanted to do more than just wax, she wanted her clients to leave feeling confident and beautiful with an experience that outclassed all other spas out there!

For years she worked 12-hour days, 7 days a week to build up her clientele and provide for her daughters, Gia and Ashton. She opened the first Brazilia location by the UCSD campus and shortly after expanded into her second location at the Westfield UTC Mall, followed by the Del Mar Highlands Shopping Center.

22 years of hard work has brought Brazilia so far and we are so proud of our history and the women who have joined us along the way!
